closet.jpgStay-at-home mom Kelli Ciaramitaro is an ace at finding garage sale bargains — she once found a dress nice enough to wear to a special dinner with her husband for a dollar — and she and her pal Maureen had long consigned and shopped the big kid’s consignment sale, KidsTown, held twice a year at the Agricenter. Finally, they thought: Why not start a sale of their own, one that focuses on women’s clothing, handbags, shoes and belts? So on July 14 and 15, What’s N Your Closet will hold it’s first sale, with new and like-new clothes from all seasons.

“It’s a great way to help other women and make some extra money,” Kelli told me last week. She consistently makes $100- $150 consigning/selling kids clothes. “I’m happy with that.”

Click here to find out everything you need to know about the sale. And let me know about any dollar dresses you find!

I have sent the link to many of my friends and they plan to participate, too. This is the only place I’ve read about this consignment sale, so thank you for posting this. It’s a wonderful opportunity to clean out closets, make some cash, and then donate unsold clothes to charity.

I’m going to be out of town when this is going on (DRAT!) but I do have troubles (a lot of them) in finding clothes in this city.

I’m not only petite, but also on the skinny side (105-110 lbs.). I’ve been purchasing used pants online from EBay using my measurements. With the way everything is “vanity sized” these days very few clothing manufacturers make a size small enough for someone with a 26″ waist. Talbot’s does, but I certainly can’t afford to shop there most of the time (their pants sometimes go for over $100 a pair).

I hate I’m missing this.

They are planning on having additional sales in the future as well so maybe you can make the next one.

Today at drop off, I saw a LOT of great bargains! I cannot wait to shop, shop, shop!

I consigned and saw that they have some great stuff at incredibly low prices: Ann Taylor, Talbot’s, Calvin Klein; casual wear, office wear, formal wear; purses, hats, belts; and sizes 0-24 and up. I’m going back on Sunday when many things will be 50% off! They are now taking credit cards, too! Many things still had price tags on them, too! Happy shopping!
