osb-20music-notes-i-poster.jpgDo I have a soundtrack? What song is playing in my spirit, speaking to whom I am as a enter a room?

<>Spending hours exercising with an iPod blaring in my ears has started me thinking about the music that defines me. I tend to listen to the same songs to get my heart pumping, but those songs aren’t me.

<> So far, the contenders are:

<>Chaka Khan’s “I’m Every Woman”

<>Cheryl Lynn’s “Got To Be Real”

<>Carl Carlton’s “She’s a Bad Mama Jama”

<> What’s your theme song? <>

A real Diva

Wendi, how could you leave off every woman’s theme song…The Commodores “Brick House”? You know that is our anthem!! Although 36-24-36 is considered being anorexic as far as Black women is concerned, this song still reigns as the anthem designed for us as African American women today.

Just my two cents.
