You know how we all have our fantasy life — if I were really wild, I’d … move to Italy, learn to fly, sing in a rock band? Well, my sister’s always been a singer, but this year, after a long journey, she finally made her wish come true. Betcha can’t pick her out in this publicity picture — OK, maybe you can — but she’s rocking out every weekend all over the northern Chicago suburbs, fronting a band called Twist of Fate. Her birthday’s next week (I KNOW you won’t guess how old she is!), and I’m so proud she’s finally come to a place where she can sing her favorite Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt songs for actual money. Twist of fate, indeed.

So, what’s your fantasy, and how are you going to make it happen?

More power to her! That is great. You know, I would love to open and operate a successful doggy daycare. I think there is currently only one in Memphis and it’s in mid-town. Suburbanites need a place to socialize their best friend. I love animals, particularly dogs. Not sure how to start something like that though and I’m a little iffy on whether there is room in this market for such a niche service. Maybe one day my dream will become a reality.
