I just want to say that after reading about you in the paper you give me strength and courage to succeed in losing weight., I've tried and tried to lose weight but nothing helps. I joined hope and healing at the end of January and I see about 2-3lbs. I'm trying. I have lupus and Celic Spure (food allergy) so that means that I can't eat anything that contains wheat. I'm telling you it's so hard. I'm depressed all the time. All I do is go to the doctor,go to hope and healing, and home. It's like I have no life. I know that I have a son to live for that's what keeps me strong. If you have any advice please feel free to contact me @901-859-1607 or email me @ msdodson98@yahoo.com thanks it really would mean alot to me. Shereia

Rosie,

I am so proud of you. :)
You did lost it the TOUGH way.
I did have the gastric by-pass preformed in 1995 at the age of 35. I weighed 325 and wore a size 26 the day of surgery. On June 13, 1997, I had the extra fat/skin removed from my abdoman. I wnet into the hospital in a size 14 and came home to a size 10! At that time, I was at my all time low weight of 167 lbs and in a size 10. In the next couple of years, I gained some of the weight back as they promised I wold after the surgery. I leveled off at 187. I remained ther until Nov. 2007 when I began taking a drug called Lyrica. Since Nov 10, 2007, I have gained and now I'm at my new high of 214. I have my evaluation to go through the program at Hope and Healing on Wednesday. after reading your story, I wouldn't miss that appointment for anything! :)

Best wishes for continued success with the maintence portion of your diet or shall I say life change.

Sincerly,
