Back in the day, my vacation mantra was “no bra, no watch, no makeup”. Unfortunately, age & gravity are taking their toll & the bra is mandatory but I skimp on makeup (tinted moisturizer, mascara & gloss) & leave the watch at home. I must have books to read, sunscreen, lip balm for every pocket/purse/beach bag & at least one Pina Colada for every two beers.

My vacation rule. . . . NO KIDS! Woo Hoo! That is momma’s time to relax and soak up the sun while sipping colorful drinks with umbrellas in them. LOL Enjoy your time away!

Since my dream vacation is anywhere that isn’t the beach, I’m going to need a few things that aren’t on your list – like bras and good shoes! I would love to have a few days in the mountains to just sit and read, but the hubby thinks we must be on the go all the time. That means that vacation doesn’t end up to be all that relaxing! I could do with tinted moisturizer and a ponytail for a week, but, again, hubby feels we must make appearances, so my hair has to at least look like it’s been brushed! Enjoy your trip!
